February 18: Kansas City Fan Convention’s  Comic & Toy Convention #7 is held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. The featured guests are Kevin Mellon, Grant Bond, and Ed Lavallee.

March 25: Kansas City Fan Convention’s  Comic & Toy Convention #8 is held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. The featured guest is Lee Leslie.

April 19: The Other Side, written by Jason Aaron, is nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Limited Series.

May 5-6: Planet Comicon 2007 is held at the Overland Park International Trade Center.

May 26: Foxtrot cartoonist Bill Amend wins the Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year.

June 17: Kansas City Fan Convention’s  Comic & Toy Convention #9 is held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas.

August 5: Kansas City Fan Convention’s  Comic & Toy Convention #10 is held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. The featured guests are Tom Avery and Dale Martin.

September 15-16: The 2007 Free State FreeCon is held on the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Lawrence, Kansas. Advertised guests include Josh Howard (Saturday only), Freddie Williams II, Jason Aaron, Jeremy Haun, Grant Bond, Kevin Mellon, B. Clay Moore, Dennis Hopeless, Ed Lavallee, Steven Sanders  (Saturday), Seth Peck, Jai Nitz  (Saturday), John Ralston, Creators of Larrytown Laffs, Dayton Ward (Sunday only), Kevin Dilmore (Sunday only), and Star Wars Fan Clubs.

September 29-30: Mo-Kan Comics Conspiracy is held at the BTC Convention Hall in Kansas City, MO. The special guests include Michael Golden, Stephen Furst, Clayton Crain, Aubrey Sitterson, and Renee Witterstaetter.

October 28: Kansas City Fan Convention’s  Comic & Toy Convention #12 is held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. The featured guest is Brent Woodside.

December 2: Kansas City Fan Convention’s  Comic & Toy Convention #13 is held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. The featured guest is Rick Stasi. Filmmaker S. Jason Cole was conducting interviews. The convention also hosted the December meeting of the Kansas City Comic Book Club.

December 30: Bill Amend’s final daily Foxtrot is published. It continues as a Sunday only feature.
