Writer <a title=\"Jason Aaron\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kansascitycomics.com\/?page_id=1373\">Jason Aaron<\/a>\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s series <em>Scalped<\/em> has been nominated for an Eisner Award as Best Continuing Series.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Big congrats to the whole <em>Scalped<\/em> crew,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Aaron wrote on his <a title=\"Jason Aaron\" href=\"http:\/\/jasoneaaron.blogspot.com\/2011\/04\/schism-and-whatnot.html\" target=\"_blank\">blog<\/a>, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153including all the artists who worked on the series last year, along with our usual culprits, including our long-suffering editors Will Dennis and Mark Doyle. If we win we&#8217;ll have to carve off chunks of the trophies for everybody to share.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Jason Aaron, originally from Alabama, has lived in suburban Kansas City for several years. In addition to <em>Scalped<\/em>, he writes several series for Marvel Comics, including <em>Wolverine<\/em>, <em>Astonishing Spider-Man &amp; Wolverine<\/em>, and <em>PunisherMAX<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Scalped<\/em> is an on-going crime comic book series published by Vertigo Comics. It is set on a fictional, modern day Indian reservation in South Dakota. The story centers on undercover FBI agent Dashiell Bad Horse and his interactions with tribal Chief Lincoln Red Crow.<\/p>\n<p>The series has also been nominated for several other awards, including the Harvey awards and Spinetingler Awards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The nominations for one of the most respected awards in comics include a Kansas City creator.
