In my previous columnÂ about the Free State Comicon, I spoke briefly in the comments about something that IÂ forgot to coverÂ . So Iâ€™ve decided, of course, to make it my next post about the comics world in KC. And this one is something Iâ€™m incredibly surprised hasnâ€™t been picked up on by more people or discussed or even brought up.

I hadnâ€™t heard about it prior to the Free State Comicon on September 10th. I hadnâ€™t heard mention of it. But like most of you, Iâ€™ve read almost all of the comics that are involved in this insanely brilliant idea.

Here’s our final wrap up on the 2011 Free State Comicon featuring photos, photos, and more photos. It’s been a week now since the event, and here at Kansas City Comics we’ve enjoyed following up with a number of the guests.
